these photos are a bit out of order and we promise to post more once Asher's baby acne clears up and he quits refusing to be photographed. This was a favorite sign from the Farm and we did see so many turtles including a very small baby one. We will always remember our time at the Farm with great fondness and we hope to return there at some point in the future although just for a vacation. No more birthing babies for me!
I distracted Asher while Dennis sneaked a photo. His umbilical cord finally came off today so he was able to have his first real bath. He absolutely loved it and when he is really happy or excited he stretches his toes out and curls them. Needless to say we are madly in love with him. He purrs in his sleep and continues to make the most cat like coos.
Here Emmit is trying to show you the tonsils that will be removed in October. Thank goodness my Mom has agreed to come out and help. He is also having the branchial cleft cyst removed from his ear. Luckily they can do both procedures at once. Emmit has shown no remorse at becoming a big brother and absolutely loves his little brother. He comes up with silly nicknames for him daily. The favorites are "squeaky monkey" and "sweet peanut" oh and "Asher Bear". Emmit has a whole repetoire of songs he can now sing from start to finish and Asher readily responds to Emmits singing.
