Birthday Party!

I think we must have sang Happy Birthday at least a dozen or more times at Emmit's request.
He had a really special birthday and we had a housefull of very happy waffle eating guests.
We feel so lucky to have found a wonderful community of friends here for all of us.

This is proof that our child does eat and also an example of him using his new chopsticks
from his beloved friend Greta. His two year old doctor appt. caused a lot of needless stress in our lives when we were told that he doesn't weigh enough and we are now switching doctors and can stop shoving food down his throat and just enjoy our very healthy, active, developmentally on target and yes, petite child.

Emmit really loves birthday parties and has been looking forward to his own for sometime now. He is already excited to turn three and throw another big bash for all his friends.

Happy birthday Emmit! Emmit turned two on April 6. To celebrate, we had a big waffle party on Sunday and invited lots of friends to eat waffles and play. Above is Emmit and Papa playing with Emmit's new wooden sushi set.
